ATC can not provide transportation services for in-town members to their appointments. This policy is in place to ensure the optimal allocation of resources and to better serve our community's broader needs. Members are encouraged to explore alternative transportation options available within the town. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in this matter. For any questions or further assistance, please contact us.

At this time hotels in Fort McMurray are limited due to the state of local emergency and mandatory evacuation orders.
Members are expected to act respectfully while staying in accommodation. This includes adhering to the policies and expectations of the hotel.
If members are asked to leave the hotel due to bad behaviour or breaching of the hotel’s rules members are responsible for finding their own lodging. Transportation back to member’s community will be provided.
All damages, misplaced items, or additional charges above what was pre-approved by the Athabasca Tribal Council are the sole responsibility of the member who was registered to the room. The Athabasca Tribal Council is not responsible for payment and will bill back any charges to the member for collection.
Athabasca Tribal Council reserves the right to place members on a reimbursement only basis when deemed appropriate and as a result of breaching any of the policies of the medical transportation program, including but not limited to aggressive/inappropriate behaviour, property damage, having unregistered guests in the hotel, missed appointments etc.
